New pokemon competition coming up on the GBL, the Spooky Cup.
I haven't decided if I'm gonna enter or not...the prize is only 10 rare candies for participants, so nothing exciting there. Plus, they're allowing all of Rotom's forms.
Rotom was the reason I stopped doing battles in the Pikachu Cup, cause it was on almost every single dang team. I know it's a very competitive-viable pokemon, especially in doubles, but I'm just sick of seeing it.
Pikachu is on the list because of the cosplay Pikachu (Halloween and all)...but there are a few pokemon on the list I can't figure out:
-Volcarona. Why is that on the list? I literally have no clue. A play on Mothman, or something? They have Dustox for that.
-I get that Mr. Mime is just plain freaky once they gave it movement animations (I wasn't spooked by it until its Gen VI sprite), but why that? Is it cause it's like a clown, and for some reason (perhaps Stephen King), clowns are morphed into scary decorations on Halloween?
-Exploud, too...I don't get why that entire evolution line is in there.
-Toxicroak. Okay, it's a poison frog. Still don't know why it's there. The poison-typing, maybe?
-Sharpedo. Just...what?
-Kabutops. I'm confused.
Are there any pokemon on the list which boggles you? Are you going to participate?
