Silver Tools
Silver shovel: Gotten by donating 15 fossils to the museum, becomes purchasable on the 2nd floor.
Silver net: Gotten by donating 30 bugs to the museum, becomes purchasable on the 2nd floor.
Silver fishing rod: Gotten by donating 30 fish/diving creatures to the museum, becomes purchasable on the 2nd floor.
Silver watering can: Buy 50 flowers, given to you by Reiji/Lazy (the sloth character)
Silver axe: Found on the island, can be bought for 8 medals. Rare.
Silver slingshot: Found randomly in the sky, has two silver balloons. Shoot both down and inside will be the silver slingshot.
Gold Tools
Gold shovel: Buy 50 things of fertilizer
Gold net: Catch all the bugs in game
Gold fishing rod: Catch all fish in game
Gold watering can: Keep your town in the "perfect town" status for 15 days, and you'll get the golden watering can from Shizue/Isabelle
Gold Axe: Buy 50 tree saplings from the gardening shop
Gold slingshot: Found randomly in the sky, has three gold balloons. Shoot all down and inside will be the gold slingshot.
