I'm still using the Splattershot Jr. with the shield/bomb. I do really well with it and not as well with the other weapons I've tried. I like it because I can spread a good amount of ink while getting up close kills.

I'm not sure that I'm a huge fan of the new Ink Brush. I like that it's super speedy but I really dislike the small trail it leaves behind. I see many people using it in Turf Wars so there must be something about it people like.

I usually just use the regular Roller. I've tried some others and they don't really seem to work as well for me. At the weapon store I always test out the weapons before buying, and I've bought some splattershots, the ink brush, and several others that seemed good when I tested them but I just ended up sticking to the Roller. I think the Krak-on roller is supposed to be better but I prefer the regular roller's special (Killer Wail) over the Krak-on's (Kraken).

Hey, to each their own! The Killer Wail has a special edge that most people fail to exploit, usually due to its deployment speed or not making the most of its range to trap opponents. It can be used really well as space control in comparison to most other abilities!
The Krak-On roller is generally more preferred (including for me) because not only is it a melee ability for a melee weapon, it can be used effectively in almost any situation (though not always to amazing effect).

What do you guys think of the newer DLC weapons out now? I haven't had much time lately to boot up my Wii U unfortunately to try them out much.

The Aerospray RG is the best weapon, period. Ever since I've gotten it, I've been going from ~900 point rounds at the best when my team wins to consistently 1000+ point rounds, often in the 1300s-1700s. It rocks. Best gun ever. Only thing that would make it better is seekers as its sub. I am not particularly proficient at choosing spots for ink mines.

Although Tantetek Splattershot remains my favorite and I have stuck with it, each time I use the Aerospray I feel like Piccolo:

My favorite atm is the Zapper. I like how fast it shoots.

-Hero Shot Replica
-Inkbrush
-Splash-O-Matic
-.96 Gal
And occasionally the Gold Dynamo Roller. I use a lot of different stuff lol.
