I actually haven't completed the story mode yet, I've been too engrossed in multiplayer hehe. ^-^;

I sucked this morning using the Splash-o-matic and Custom Dual Squelcher and .52 Gal Deco but switching to Tentatek Splattershot has served me well. I think I'll be using that a lot more now! I normally cover 850-1100p using those but only achieved 500-800 today, ouch. I got 1150 using the Tentatek though, yay!

I haven't used many blasters now I realise. I used to use the Luna Blaster in Tower Control but haven't done so recently. I think my problem with them is slow rate of fire or not enough range. Is there a blaster to fix those problems?
 
Woah I only just realised how you change your inklings features, now I don't have to have the default skin tone that I selected in a rush haha ^^'

Is it bad that I've only made one post to miiverse and never order gear from Spyke / barely spend any time in the plaza? I suck at drawing which is mainly why I don't post - all the posts there look so awesome.

I do like spending time in the plaza during Splatfest though, it's so awesome then. <3

I even bought the game on release date and didn't know until now. I was looking all over the game pad but thought the options was just for sound and stuff, someone give me a medal pls
 
I'll actually be playing soon for around 30-40 minutes! I have to try and improve from how badly I did earlier today. ^-^;
 
Lol I just noticed/remembered azza's tournament teams thread and now I wonder if this mode is ever going to be released in the future. Is it??
 
It is, but so far we only know that teams will be able to be chosen. What we don't know is if opponents will also be able to be chosen. If they aren't, then tournaments wouldn't be possible, if they are, then they will be.

And as I just typed that I remembered they were able to do a mini tourney during the World Championships which means it's possible to pick your partners and opponents so we'll likely get both.

As for a release it'll probably be some time in August.

I'm pretty sure that somewhere I read that you can make a room of four where you'll then be put against a random team of four or you can also just make a room of eight, assuming you can pick sides.improbablywrongabouthowsomeofthisworksthough



Ah okay I decided to find the thing I read before, might have been this..since it has map options and rule sets, I'd assume we can pick what team to be on.
"Party matchmaking will allow four players to party up online and find another team to battle. Meanwhile, custom games will support up to 8 players and allow them to choose any stage or ruleset they want."

Well if you wanted to get technical probably to keep the game alive by enticing people to return once a new map/mode is released but as consumer not really.
