how do i do this superjump thing from the start point to where i died? do i need special equip for it?

You cant sj to where you died. You have to have a team mate still alive and then you can tap their icon on the gamepad and superjump to them. I advise you try to make sure there isnt an enemy near by because they can shoot at your sj spot as you can see where you are going to land
