Win percentage. There's another photo that gives more detail, but Dogs had a MUCH higer vote rate, so that's why they won. (Vote% + [Win%x2] = Total ponts)

So for dogs, it was (62% + [49%x2] = 160)

the whole thing felt unbalanced since people from the same teams were competing against each other plus the "less than 3 vs 4" thing (total bull) so I hope the next splatfest would be something really different~

I feel like it's really unfair that popularity factors in. It should benefit people just because they chose what everyone else would choose. The matches with the same team against each other definitely should not count. They should just be matches that are just for fun or something.

They don't count. They only thing they count towards is your ranking. They don't contribute to the whole of splatfest.

They don't. They're only there so people aren't waiting around, and it gives people a chance to build their rank. But it doesn't affect the win%.

Popularity seems to count for way more than it should though. I feel liek it should factor but not as much, though tbf, even if wins counted for 10x as much as popularity, dogs would still have won here.


On a personal upside, I guess this means I chose well picking Rock. It's definitely the more popular choice here.

yesterday we did a 2 vs 4 match, of course we didn't win but I must say I enjoyed the experience as we where winning the first half of the match ^^
