Yea there's five ranks/titles. I got to the third one and it's pretty easy to rank..you get points lose or win. Buut hopefully I can continue later. ;u;
Also, during splatfest you can only play cat vs dogs (rock vs pop) or whatever.
 
Im team pop and I meant to pick Rock because Callie is rock and I prefer Callie to Marie but oh well

Pop is clearly gonna lose, literally everyone in my plaza for the past week has been team rock except like 5 people

I'm gunna play some splatoon for a bit. I haven't played all day :I Anyone have a shirt with good abilities? I was thinking of getting rid of my ninja swim shirt.
 
Ill come soon! I jsut have to finish the background on my venusaur painting. Then I can outline once its dry

Seriously though, my hype for splatfest is real right now. And I won't be able to play most of it until tomorrow morning. XD
What I want to know though is if you can leave the splatfest part of it and go onto normal turf wars and ranked or if you're stuck on splatfest only lobbies until splatfest is over. I mean, I won't complain or anything, but I just think it'd be cool to play non-splatfest as well. I guess not, because of it affecting the rank you have for splatfest....

I'm having such a good time right now I swear the hype was so real. It's like I'm playing a different version of the game and I LOVE IT. I only wish they didn't have just one song during battles because it gets kinda annoying. xD But the opening tho... gets me every time.

Also did anyone else notice they changed the thing to show when someone didn't join? Like the squid up top is just an outline? Maybe it's just for Splatfest...

Nope, you're only given the option to participate in a "Splatfest Battle" the whole time. Basically the whole thing is grinding to get better titles. xD

I'm a bit disappointed that Splatfest is literally worse than the base release of the game when it only had 5 maps and 1 mode in every way possible. It seems that instead of two maps every 4 hours, it's now locked on 3 maps all day, and you also can't join a friends room at all anymore. Ranked is also completely out, so say bye to those maps and modes. Basically all Splatfest is are 3 maps and 1 mode with regional random match ups only, and you're forced to play it.

On the other hand, I'm still having a blast. The little changes in scenery and music makes it so much more awesome, plus now there's a goal to reach.

Well hey, good thing is its regional. I dont want my splatfest with laggy ass japanese peeps.
