Idk I've always seen like 1-2 per game (if any) but I don't blame people for using it now if they got tired of the more "popular" ones.
Only reason I'm trying to use it is because it's the only decent gun that has the inkzooka for normals imo.

I was put against a team of three chargers, I thought it'd be easy but one wrecked me, not bc they were really good at sniping, but because their burst bombs were amazing and killed me every time. I learned how to burst bomb kills in ranked thanks to them >u<
but yea a full team of chargers coverage would easily be beat unless they're getting kills non-stop which isn't too likely xD What are the odds to be in a team like that tho lmao

Yea, I've never seen a really good coverage score, but hey if they get a lot of kills, then at least they kept the enemy team from inking as much? (I still don't see that great of kills either tho, but still can be annoying~;u; )

people who are good at using chargers don't really seek a good score but they find satisfaction in killing the other team members over and over than actually painting the floor, which they leave that to the other members while they keep them safe from the other team. it works perfectly if there was like one member with a charger but not more than that

Pretty much, I always enjoy having one charger on my team for that purpose. Two chargers+ have never been good in ranked from my experience. (and sort-of turf wars)
I personally protect people WAY easier with jet squelcher in ranked than I'd ever do with a charger and the enemy doesn't expect it bc they don't see a line pointing by them and the range is very close to equal to a charger or better. I suck so bad with chargers ;u; sadly, it was the gun I wanted to use b4 splatoon came out </3

yeah, I saw you using the new weapon though! how did it fair with you?
I personally only tested it but never used it in turf war yet, I might do that for fun and then go back to my usual weapons...

Started messing with rollers with my friend Koki today and found out I actually do really well with them. I'm really good at getting kills and sneaking up on people. I love when someone invades our base and is off inking somewhere with their back turned, so I roll right behind them and SPLAT.
Oddly enough I haven't experienced that thing that usually happens where you splat a roller that's far away from you and then you somehow get splatted. Those that splat me usually kept on going...
