That's what I try to do but I'm a sniper so I can't do it all on my own. xD My job is covering my side, killing the other team, and not being able to turn around fast enough when someone sneaks up behind me because they let them in. For certain stages where sniping isn't great (Kelp Dome, Blackbelly Skatepark, Port Mackerel on occasion) I use the .52 Gal Deco and that usually is when I run everything alone, although I'm usually swarmed at some point and then that's the end. :/

Same, I used the Splatterscope at first. But people say the chargers are support weapons. Too bad supporting an army of pineapples won't win you a war. (Yes pineapples. I don't know why, I just felt like pineapples were a good way to describe most teams.) I tried the .96 Gal after that, but it's a bit too slow, so I went with the Splash-O-Matic and now I'm doing good.

I've never used a charger before, I use the .96 Gal for all my sniping needs lol. I tried others like the Dual Squelcher but I was always getting killed before my shots could do anything. The .96 might be slow but it only takes like three hits to kill which is usually before anyone knows what's happening. It's loads of fun, especially on stages like Arowana Mall (my favorite sniping stage) when the other team tries to go up our wall into that side alley and I kill them while they're climbing. xD

I will forever be enraged by false-range situations (the Splash-O-Matic reminded me of this). Yes, the Aerospray RG is a rapid fire weapon, but if you're approaching my sniping spot, I know you're coming, and I'm firing at you right away, how on earth do we kill each other at the same time if my weapon has far greater range?! I should kill you before you can even get close!

Well to answer both paragraphs, the Aerospray has the smallest damage output in the game, being I think 5 hits to kill BUT those 5 hits come out extremely fast, making it do the most damage per second. So if you can kill in 2 hits, but they take half a second to fire, that won't work out so well against someone who can kill in 4 hits, but they come out every tenth of a second.
 
I think chargers suck and your always at the bottom of the team results and looks like little contribution
I use rollers all the way :-P
 
I was using rollers alot today, I do really good with them but I don't like them that much :(

Probably good advice. I might try a few games and if I end up at 0-10 points I'll prob just leave it lmao.

There's this one japanese dude with the nozzlenose... It's the most annoying thing ever. And now I really suck at chargers.

nah you're good aha, I can't use chargers AT ALL, I like to use them but I'm terrible and hardly get any kills, sometimes in ranked it's better but I'm still awful - need more practice

It was bluefin deport, and I had a charger. XD please have some pity. He kept sneaking up to our base and killing me :(

Bluefin deport is 'built' for chargers that's making you look even worse LMAO
I don't really have any tactics for that stage, it still bothers me that I can't reach the top of the walls to get onto their side with the paint brush - but it's useful to throw a sprinkler onto the other middle section over the water and to stick it underneath the bridge that goes across the middle
I also tryed to join your game earlier but the session was full rip me

I knowww but I couldn't get past them. Sounds like you need to BRUSH up on your skills ;) (see what I did?)

Regardless though, Splatoon has the same concept as MK8 online, LoL, Dota, CoD, etc. People don't stop playing bc they reached the max level. They play for competitive reasons/playing online with others because it's fun.

But yea I know it'd be nice if we had the full content but still. I'm guilty of getting addicted to games like this even if I don't get anything else out of it anymore~

Eh, I'm not really a fan of ranked battles. I tried them, but they're something that are fun for a little bit, but then get boring quick.

I've never played LoL, CoD, or Dota, but I've played MK8, but I disagree. MK8 doesn't have a cap (or if it does it's stupidly high at like 999999 points or something), where splatoons in a mere level 20. And it's not even that I've reached "max level and stopped playing", because I don't really see it as max level, it's more so I've just hit a brick wall. I mean, I just like to have a number to show off, and to see how far I've come. I know it really means nothing, but at least it would give me more drive to play. As someone said before, something so small can make a huge difference, and I think removing the level cap would do that, because it actually gives you more of a reason to play online.

I've actually seen people with like 99 thousand points on mario kart. You would have to be obsessed to get that far into it.... Im only on about 6k XD
