I was fine until the last 20 minutes, a lot of people had 0 points or I'd be able to splat them bc they're standing in place (dcing?), which started getting boring. I gave up when the last game dced me..
100% sure the person in that game was experiencing the same thing as me tho since we were the last ones and messing around.

Got my Inkling Squid Amiibo and Splatoon T-shirt in the post today!
I really want to wear the shirt but I don't want to mess it up
I might just wear it as a lazing-round-the-house shirt, especially since I think it is one size too big for me...
I also now have all the Splatoon Amiibo so I'm ready for the weekend when I get my Wii U (I hope, the bundle is released on Friday but Nintendo hasn't dispatched it yet and they only let me get standard 2-3 day delivery for it...)

I was really lucky, the person I got the Amiibo off of had another auction for the shirt no one had bid on so I got it for a fiver
so I got them both for ?20 with free postage since I got two items from them :3The shirt is a bit big, I normally take a small for these sorts of shirts but it is a medium and looks huge on me, so I'm using it as a lazy shirt, if I ever started live streaming I'd probably wear it. There are lots of unofficial shirts on places like Redbubble that I really want too.

Its only purpose is to counter out Defense Up, it doesn't make killing easier.

Really? I read that having one could increase a .52 Gal's power up to 3 or whatever.

It probably does but if the other guy you're shooting at has a defense buff (which they probably do) then it's kind of irrelevant.
The damage and defense buffs seem like things you need just to do/take regular damage rather than optional things :/ If everybody has these stats, it's the same as nobody having them.
They should have slightly different values depending on what weapon you're using, like roller users increasing the value of defense boosts a little more, or chargers get a bit of extra Ink for that ink boost stat.
I dunno, it just seems like it would make them a little less 'necessary' and persuade you more to take one or the other based on your weapon...Kind of like RPG logic, warriors taking STR+ items gives extra boost for warriors.

Exactly. It gets so confusing sometimes I honestly wonder why they even added them.
I think each clothing item should come with strength and defense bonuses AS WELL AS abilities. That way everyone at least has something.
This too. Whatever you're most prone to with the weapon your using should have some kind of stat that balances it out a little more.
Like you said, slower fire rates get a higher defense, low damage gets a bit of a damage boost, ect.

Snipers always find a way to annoy me in every game. At first I didn't mind the snipers in this game at all. Now I'm just getting sniped without any ink even showing up. Also, is it a necessity to have attacks + defense perks? I have zero. I should probably re-roll.
I don't have any attack/defence things either. To me they don't make a difference.

Seems to me like attack boosts really help if you use a .52 Gal. I've been splatting people left and right as it only takes about three hits. Been a real help in ranked mode, I believe I'm 50 into B now.

So according to the Splatoon Wikia page, two new weapons, the N-Zap '89 and Carbon Roller, are going to be released sometime in the future. There's also Bluefin Depot and Camp Triggerfish for the stages. Very interesting. I already called Bluefin Depot though lol. Camp Triggerfish is apparently by a forest which seems pretty cool.
I sure hope that's not all Nintendo is planning on releasing... for free anyways. I pray there's no paid DLC content.

I might get on in a few minutes. Just letting you know, I will only be able to play 2-4 games in a row, then it disconnects me. I should be joined by the next game tho
