S: I'm starting with whatever the **** a squiffer is. And going to be switching out clothes to get my new stuff their abilities. So this is going to be a disaster am sure. (also it cost 80K to buy out everything today!) Glad I've been free today to collect that much! o: I thought I'd have some G spare to shuffle abilities with Spyke.


Apparently a squiffer is a whole lotta nope.

The Squiffers are probably the easiest chargers to use, so you shouldn't worry TOO much.

On an upside I'm scoring better with splattershot custom than I do with the roller. o:
 
Well apparently the Splatterscope actually DOES have a scope, which I didn't notice because I could have sworn I bought it but it ended up being the new squiffer. Seems so much easier to use.
 
So I just got this game yesterday, it's fun. Does anyone know how often the battle map/arena/stage/etc selection changes?
 
Okay how are ties determined in Splat Zones. I just lost one even though we had control of the zone and also had more turf than the enemy.

I have tons of questions about Splat Zones. What's with the +xx numbers and how are they determined? I know it's how long before the timer starts going down, but why do the numbers vary? Also with the whole "we have control" "we lost control" thing. Does it become neutral or something? Neutral while covered in our ink??

Blackbelly Skatepark is the worst imo. Two zones with the sniper tower in the middle. And the other team ALWAYS gets control of it. I'm just gonna wait until the maps switch. Not too big on playing Port Mackerel five times in a row either. (which totally happened today)

Those are penalties you get for losing a zone (you get them when you're behind too, which sucks. Don't know if there's a pattern for the numbers though.)
There is a neutral state where nobody's counter will go down.
I just looked up my own question, and whoever has less time on their timer wins, which I don't think is right. Teams with more time have won before.

-10 seconds if you own it at the end I believe. Or thats what it seemed to do for me a couple times?

It's a bit weirdly ruled though, I'm guessing you need ~75% of the splat zone to claim it as I've had most of it covered before and the opposing team were still losing time.


Also server maintainence? suddenly??
