I'm getting depressed seeing everyone playing this game except me. I've been with Nintendo Tech Support reps over 4 times now, and it still isn't working... I've tried fixing this since the TestFire and nothing has worked...

Do you have this problem with other games? I had the same issue with mariokart 8 and ssb. We bought a new modem because they said our telstra one is blocking the things we needed to play online. So we got rid of our telstra one and it works fine now.

I am assuming that this question probably sounds daft, but when you go up a level, is it like a rating you can lose or do you keep it?
I am purely asking because my copy of Splatoon is still new and sealed 24 hours later...

Yes you get to keep your level, and each time you level up you unlock a new gun. The level cap is 20

I could technically open it and play anytime as I have got another better conditioned new and sealed Splatoon + Inkling Squid Special Edition sitting in my room right now...

Ask them about your router, they should know if its good or bad with the wii u. Some routers just don't work with it. I wouldnt suggest it yet, as it may be a waste of money but you should ask them about it. Try haveing a look at the settings and look up the error code on the internet. Hope it starts working soon!

I looked up the error code many times. It keeps telling me to do port forwarding and DMZ, neither of which works...
Though what's weird is that it used to work with my Wii U.
I've been tryig since 7am this morning and now it's 6pm... I'm just gonna quit. 
I'll go to playing battle dojo with a ******** wii remote + classic controller + shoe string set up while controlling the gamepad with my toes or something.
