Splatoon Splatoon General Discussion (HYPE THREAD)

Should I download the shop version now so it can be ready in the morning for $72, or wait till around 5:30 PM tomorrow to buy the game for $58?
 
I WASN'T EXPECTING IT TO ARRIVE UNTIL MONDAY BUT NOPE AMAZON HAVE AMAZING DELIVERY
Ordered bundle 6pm last night - arrives today a few hours ago (I only paid for standard/regular delivery holy crap man I'm happy)
 
Just got my copy! :D

The email said before or on June 1st so I was worried it wouldn't come.

I like it for the 'middle' where everybody ends up fighting. It feels more like making smart decisions and making use of the different 'ground levels' to slowly push the enemy back and take turf is really important there.

This explains why I like to run all around the edges in circles with my roller. I don't have to make smart decisions.
 
So I've had to call it quits on the game for a few hours because the charger for my game pad is wrecked, so the gamepad won't charge. My dad is going to do a temp fix on it and I'll order a new one online. Mean while my progress on everything
I'm nearly level 9 on multiplayer.
I've beaten the second boss in single player.
I was about to get the hairclip thing of the girl amiibo when I had to call it quits.

Hopefully I can hop back on soon, but now I just have to sit and wait.
 
Been playing online for about an hour and having fun. Just hit level 5. :D

Only pausing because it's 4pm and I've not eaten yet. Oops.

Yeah, I notice if I don't do it no one does, and if i do do it the opposing team undoes it all. But gets me a good score atleast. :P

I've also found I tend to get put with people using the same weapon as me in matches. Anyone else finding that? I done 4 matches without the roller and only one of them was I paired with someone else with one. While I keep getting teams of 3 rollers at the moment
 
7 hours in. Level 11, nearly 12.


Antlerss is SO good it's not even funny. She literally carries the team EVERY round and dominates the game. She's brilliant at this game and I dun lyyk it!

I've just hit level 9 with about 4/5 hours :3


I'm happy that I'm usually the top player :) Even with a loss I'm usually getting between 800-1000

The last match I was in kicked everybody from my team at the start and two players from the enemy team o.O

I only lost by 3% though xD other team still got REKT
 
Got it this morning free from GAME by trading in a few games
Up to level 5 played 3 hours so far
