"Spent ____ Bells"

Sometimes if you check your transaction log, most of the posts say "Earned 2 bells" or something by a post. But then there are some posts that say "Spent 2 bells".

Why do some posts cost you TBT bells and some give you bells? :/

It's recalculating to be sure you're earning any more than you should while editing. No need to worry about it.

No. Like Justin said, it's recalculating. So when you edit your post, it deletes the bells you got from it, TEMPORARILY, and then when you save your post, it re adds them back, and adds in any extra bells you might've gained from lengthening your post

Pretty much, editing posts doesn't make you lose bells, if anything, you can gain them

(Not 100% on the gaining thing, but that's how it was a few years ago, idea bout now - but you don't lose any for editing)

Okay yes you do. I originally wrote "I'm not sure" and gained 1.4 bells, then I edited it to ".." And only gained 1.3 back, but thats essentially nothing.
The on,y reason I can see it being a problem is if you write a big long post, and then you shrink it down - which from my experience only ever happens when someone edits a post to say "nvm" so yeah no big deal imo

click the currency tab at the top of the forums (underneath blog tree), nd then click bells and it takes you to your transaction log
