You don't need a shovel to plant flowers

hey these people were just trying to help you, and they're correct. both are saying people literally cannot bring over 40- you can't physically pick up a 40th flower to bring over because you need a shovel to pick it up, and so you need to have a shovel in your inventory in order to use it. if you put the shovel down on the ground to make room in your inventory for a 40th flower you can't even dig up that flower in the first place... because no shovel. hope that explanation made sense- it's what they were explaining to you.

See here's the thing. The seller comes over to my island. plants 40 flowers without a shovel....then leaves. I do need a shovel, but that is irrelevant.
