Speechless.

no, you're not overracting ...

Diana (I have her twice) is one of the best villagers in the game (to me)...
furthermore, she is not very likely to be given away

you did so, just to make it possible for someone to have her, someone who claimed she was a dream villager

I would be upset too if someone made easy money on my kindness...

I would always be wary of giving a 'popular' villager away for free to someone I didn't know. They may well immediately try to sell the villager for profit knowing its highly sought after.

What AkaneDeath did was very kind, they didn't know that would happen, and have every right to feel let down by the person they gave Diana to. No one likes to be potentially taken advantage of, I've been in a similar situation myself.

Yes, people are willing to pay a lot of bells for their dreamie to prove they really want it, but it shouldn't stop them being given away for free to a loving owner. If the person has made thread topics about how much they want said villager, or its in one of these beautiful signatures I see people with, then I would have no reason not to trust to their intentions.

Being given a villager you have claimed is your dreamie and then immediately putting it up for sale is doing nothing wrong as people have already said. But it just doesn't feel in the 'spirit' of Animal Crossing. That's just my opinion :)
