Something splashing...??

Okay, now that it has happened a couple of times, I just have to ask you all and see if you know what it is, because I have no clue!

A few, separate time while I was swimming around and diving, I noticed a splash in the corner of my screen... Just a fast splash - like you would see in real life if a fish had jumped out of the water and back in... You know what I mean? But each time I have seen the splash, it happened so fast, and I didn't see anything that could have caused it. There was no one else in my town, gates weren't even open... Besides it was just a small splash. It wasn't just those bubbles popping, it was a bit bigger than that. I haven't seen anything about this anywhere, so I am perplexed... I know sometimes AC will have cute little details like this in their games sometimes; is this one of them? Or am I seeing things lol? Or maybe my town is haunted... Lol I don't know, but has anyone else experienced this before? And, more importantly, does anyone know what it is?

I think it's just the undersea creatures, you see black shadow, then you see bubbles, a little splash and they have gone, I may be wrong though but have definitely seen the splash a lot of times.

Yeah they tend to splash a bit when they disappear. Could be that.

I've heard this at least 3 times in the past week! I didn't see the splash, but I could hear a sound. It sounds like when an insect falls into the water... I have no idea where it comes from xD

Are you sure it's not your mayor splashing about? XD

It could be Pascal swimming around. After you encounter him, he can occasionally be seen swimming at the other side of the rope. You can't interact with him but he'll be splashing around.

i would say it's the bubbles you didn't see and they disappeared. or maybe you swam really close to fish and they went away?

Yes, it does sound like that! But I swear, it's not the sound or effect of the bubbles popping when the sea creatures disappear

Nope, unfortunately he hadn't been around any of those days that I'd seen them...
