Yup, I understand what you mean. I had the same thing happening to me with Fauna. I never had her and decided she would be a "must have" for me in NH... So I got her here on the forum from a kind soul and know I just... Don't vibe with her. It is strange because I actually like the normals in this game - I absolutely adore my other normal, Sally! Maybe it's because Sally actually has a bigger range of expressions, because of her lazy eyes. I also noticed Fauna has these weirdly placed dots on the back of her head and for some very shallow reason I really don't like it (very weird reason, I know).
It makes me worried, since I have ordered some Amiibos for other dreamies. I hope I do connect with them.. luckily all went well for me with my WW palls, Whitney and Peanut. I like them as much as I did 15 years ago as a kid. I lucked out there, since it would have been really disappointing to admit I don't like these old favourites as much now as then. Then again, my other villager since WW, Agent S... She is another Fauna case. Quite sad.
