Ok, so the turnip lady came to my town and I spent 1mil on turnips hoping I could make some mad cash. When I TT so I could find the best turnip prices at the retail shop, all the turnips I bought got spoiled. I went to sell the spoiled turnips hoping I could make SOME bells but instead I had to pay a HUGE disposal fee. The worst part is, I restarted my game a few weeks ago and I NEEDED the bells. Someone please help me!

Ah Christ, poor you! Time travelling does spoil turnips, I think, one of the ways the game punishes you for it (along with weeds, rafflesias, etc). Next time, just keep an eye on the Train Station, people put up turnip spikes on there . In the meantime, I don't have much money myself haha so I'm not in the business of lending, but if there's anything else you need, let me know

Time travelling causes a lot of issues with turnips and will spoil them. So sorry to hear this hun. I restarted too and I'm making bells as we speak. Hope you manage to get rid of the spoiled turnips soon

When you TT backwards, your turnips will spoil. You can TT forwards without them spoiling though.

In any case, do you have perfect fruits? You should've had one when you started. If you do, you can pick them (plant some) and take them to another town where they're not native and sell them for some good cash. Also that's really just the risk you take with turnips... sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Also I suggest you spend some time on the island at night; it's time consuming but it's the surest way of making bells (turnips take luck and selling perfect fruits takes weeks).

OH, and also you can visit someone with a bin in their house or a bin PWP. I don't have either. :/ But - sometimes you can get furniture from shaking trees (or get stung by bees x-x), and a garbage pail is one of the furniture items you can get.

May I ask how one makes money on the island as night, do you mean catching bugs etc?
