i have 10 villagers, and i want to cycle though 16 (ive done one so far) to get my child, marshal, back.
one issue, i like all my villagers, and its really difficult to cycle with only getting the newest move in out.
can someone please help me with this.
(i think i know who i want to move out, but it could change.)

It's easier if you have two slots open. Could always pick a villager and cycle an extra two slots once you get a 16 for Marshal so you have 16 for whichever one you let go off and just get them both back. It would make things go a bit quicker I think.

It's going to be a very slow process, I am currently in the same situation with Goldie. Just start the next day, talk to all villagers and make extra sure no one says anything about anyone moving, Uchi's are really good about this because they love talking about people moving. Once you get the green light and you are sure no one is moving continue on to the next day and do the same thing. Eventually villagers will ping you and try to leave and you can tell them no or yes if they are the villager you want to move. You can also swim out into the sea far from land and have your mayor sit there for like 30 minutes to an hour and than go back and see if a villager pings you for something.
