Hi guys! I only started my game like a week ago due to exams, and I haven't kept up with how everything works yet.

How can you control who moves out or not? Will villagers always tell you if you talk to them every day? Can you always prevent them from moving? Is there anything else I need to know, things that work different than in other games and so on?

Also, if you move out one of your started villagers and someone else adopts them, do they get them with their normal interior?

Thanks in advance <3

Villagers decide to move out at random. You can't chose which villager decides to 'ping' to move out, so the quickest/easiest method to get villagers to leave is to time travel. Villagers will always tell you if they want to move out and you can refuse. You can't talk them out of it if you say yes, so be careful.

If you're used to the older games, villagers now actually will never move out without your say-so in NH. You'll see them walking around with a thought bubble, and if you talk to them, they have a chance of asking about moving out (sometimes they just want to give gifts, ask favors, etc.). You can prevent them from moving at this point just like in previous games, or if you let them go, they'll be in boxes the next day. But they'll never move on their own without you talking to them first, so you no longer have to worry about that.

You have intended mechanics of forcing move outs with the campers. Otherwise it's like with the previous games. Villagers who want to move are random and happen every few days or so. As for other differences, if you're used to NL, the 16 villager cycle is no longer in this game.

If you move out your starter villagers, they'll regain their normal interiors.
