Some Campground/Amiibo questions.

Hey all! Sorry if this has been asked before. (I'm not good at navigating this site yet... x__x)

I was wondering something about the Welcome Amiibo campground. I've seen certain characters (Jingle, Jack, Blanca, Pascal, Sahara, Natt, etc...) but they are the ONLY ones I encounter. As for the ones like Reese, Cyrus, Resetti, Wisp, etc. do I need to scan their Amiibo to make them appear?

tl;dr Will some campground visitors ONLY appear through Amiibos?

It looks like that sadly. If you own the amibo card, you will just recieve a picture of the NPC
(e.g Cyrus amiibo card gives you a Cyrus Pic)
(attempted to do that with the K.K. slider amibo card, Wisp just gave me his pic)

Yup, any animal crossing character you saw that has a figure, Isabelle, Resetti, Reese, Cyrus, K.K., Kapp'n, Nook, Timmy & Tommy, ect... you must scan their amiibo to get them to be in your campsite.

As for the Holiday ones like Pav?, Jack, Blanca, Chip, Natt, and even ones like Joan, Saharah, Wendell (must have used the dream suite once to unlock him) these ones don't have to be scanned.

Using Jack as an example, Jack will appear randomly in your campsite, but NOT in the month of October. Blanca won't appear in your campsite for the entire month of April. Chip won't appear if you are currently going throu Fishing Tourneys. Pav? & Zipper won't show up in their celebratory month either.

Ahhh, shoot, that's what I figured after going WEEKS and seeing the same people over and over. xD;; Thanks for the help, everyone! Guess I'll have to make some amiibo chips... I am NOT paying more money just to get some exclusive items, lol.

You can visit other people's camps to order things from their rvs. It will cost you 5 meow coupons instead of 3, still with the limit of 3 items per day.
