Make sure it is giftable by going to the Shop and clicking inventory. It would be a waste of time doing that if the birthstone isn't giftable. Just a notice that's all. Also bump.

The only problem I've had was when someone already had a copy of a particular birthstone. You can only have one of each at a time.

Once you gift it and give it to someone else. The "gift" button will disappear and won't be giftable anymore. I didn't made that rule, its just how the forum goes.
