I've heard from a lot of people that you can only plant perfect fruit in your town if they're your native fruit. So other fruit won't turn out to be a perfect tree.

And I reallyyy need the bellboom ordinance lol.

Wow that stinks but I'll just have to plant a lot of perfect trees and swap my perfect fruit for a non native one then ;P Lot a work but worth it for the bells!
