You can now sit on rocks, get special villagers (like Zelda and Hello Kitty), complete goals to get MEOW coupons, dance near the fire in the new campsite, Cyrus will use the waving emoticon when you pick something up from him, and you can get new outfits. Oh and also there's mini games now. There's a lot more stuff too

I agree. It's changed everything...
Especially since we now have special characters we can move in from amiibo figures, allowing them to kick out an old villager. The cards will behave in the same way. It did fix a lot of stuff which needed fixing, overall I'm happy with it, but it will just take getting used to
