everyone.....europe got a DSi chair because there getting this DSi a couple days before the US. when the DSi comes out in US we will get the DSi chair....(unless they give us a diffrent DSi item but it will probally be the chair.) so the new DLC for the US is a DSi chair and we will get it when the DSi comes out...

Why celebrate, DSi sucks.

LOL, those were my thoughts, too. Slightly larger screen, slightly better audio output. And 2 cameras, the novelty of which will wear off so quickly it's not worth remembering it's got them. Anyone with a DS Lite would be wasting their money to get the DSi.

I saw someone post on one of the threads awhile ago that the DSi was gonna be so great because it would have better graphics. I had a good laugh - you can't get better graphics from the games, they are all made to play on all the DS consoles. A bigger screen simply means a little less squinting.

How does the DSi suck? It has everything the DS Phat/Lite has (excluding the GBA slot), plus MORE! I fail to see how that makes it suck.

Because if you already have a DS Lite, those minor improvements are not worth that much money.

If you don't have any DS or have the original DS, then I suppose you might like it for the general major improvements over the original model. I hardly think the differences between the Lite and the DSi were worth a "new" product release, though. Also, removing the GBA slot is unfortunate, as I have many GBA games and the GBA is terribly uncomfortable to play for very long, so playing on the DS is much nicer for that.

And back on topic - the new DLC is hideous. It looks like the characters are taking their lives into their own hands by sitting on something that should collapse at any moment, and it seems like a bad idea to suggest anyone should sit on the screen. Why did they make it a couch?? Why couldn't it just have been a proportionally sized item to sit on a table where it can't be deemed a death trap?

And that's why you didn't read the fact you could download your GBA Games for DSi along with the DSWare feature.

On topic: I remember seeing HDLC that was a DS Sofa.

Really? You can download GBA games as DSiWare? Where are you getting this from?

And that "HDLC" that you saw WAS the DSi DLC item. Not hacked.

Well, I'm going to get all the color DSi Sofas that are released, regardless. I pre-ordered the Light Blue DSi, and picking it up on Sunday! The DSi in real life, in US dollars, $170.00 plus tax.
