So my 3DS is getting old and broken :(

The circle pad on my original 3DS XL started *****ing out less than a year after I got it. Sadly, I never had the time or money to even look into getting it fixed, so I just gave up and got a new one.

It may not be necessary to do it yourself. Is your BF mechanically inclined? Most young men are quite adept at figuring those things out.

Well, should the opportunity arise (?), you can toss him the recalcitrant 3DS and let him prove it.

The oldest one I have now is probably close to 3 years old it's the old small model and it still works great, I bought it used at GameStop. I also got another old model XL used it's over a year old possibly 2 yrs, it works great. I got a 2DS as well last year, it's really sturdy. And near Christmas I got two of the newer 3DSXL models. Out of all 5 I recommend a 2DS.
