So.... is the campsite glitch fixed?

Can I use amiibo cards to kick out villagers safely? And, are normal, non amiibo moveouts safe? I'm cycling and I just feel it would be a lot easier.
Anecdotes from after the last patch would be appreciated.

I "purchased" a Judy from someone a few days ago and that person used an Amiibo to forcefully move Judy out so I could pick her up. Two days ago, the empty plot was marked in her name, yesterday she was unboxing and today she's running around like normal. So, as far as my experience goes, it's indeed fixed? Or, at the very least, it doesn't affect everyone?

It seems to have been patched, the only glitch now is purely esthetic, as you need to TT day by day (or just don't miss the moving days of the campsite visitor), so they don't inherit the old villager's exterior. And to add to that, I had that glitch (Pietro's house looked on the outside like Vivian's), and then I kicked out Pietro, being adopted by a friend since he was her dreamie.

She didn't inherit the glitch, Pietro has his normal house on her island ^^

On the day the "I've Moved Out." glitch was fixed (1.2.0), I volunteered to test it out and adopted Skye. She's been wandering around my town ever since, with no issue. I adopted Audie, and she's been unpacked since this morning. She's currently chilling at K.K.'s concert.

It is most definitely fixed, but always be cautious.

The Amiibo-only glitch has been fixed since March, and the "Moving Out" glitch hasn't been reported since the 1.2.0. patch even though the patch notes were vague, so we're assuming that it's been fixed.

There are a few definite glitches that remain involving all campers, but they only affect the island of the campsite and aren't major. The first is the exterior glitch that is mentioned in another post. The second is a glitch where, if two villagers are in boxes and moving out on the same day, one villager will remain in boxes forever until further action is taken. One of the ways to remove this stuck villager is using an Amiibo to select the stuck villager, so if you have Amiibo, you shouldn't have to worry. In both of these case, the adopter isn't affected at all.

I've heard of a few very rare reports of "double invites" still happening on this patch. Before, people believed that this was a sign of the Moving Out glitch, but there hasn't been any reports of the Moving Out glitch even with the double invite, so it's possible they're unrelated. I also saw people associating villagers crafting while in boxes with the Moving Out glitch. The crafting glitch remains, but, again, it doesn't seem to be related to the Moving Out glitch in this patch.

As for personal anecdotes, I've adopted two villagers a few days apart after the patch. One was a natural move-out, the other I'm not sure of. Both adoptions went fine, no double invites, etc.

Yeah, it can be useful! But after being patched, villagers with the I've moved out glitch, even those who seemed fine (didn't show any symptons of it, since apparently playing online would sometimes finally trigger the glitch), disappeared.

The thing is we don't know if they'll fix this minor inconvenience, and if they do, what would happen with the villagers affected by it. It's not a game breaking glitch, so I don't see why they would be deleted, but I lack the programming/ game design knowledge to assure anyone that they won't disappear at one point like it happened with the others.

There never was a glitch for kicking them out. You're safe

Villager glitches were related to adopting villagers who were moving or getting kicked out

the only glitch rn is just the exterior house glitch. my gf used an amiibo to invite diana and now diana is stuck with the prior villagers exterior house but her interior is hers. but i dont think it happens to anyone often?
