Umm...no, no it isn't. And even if you're wild claims of having all your files being recovered are true, then the owner of the laptop (or charity foundation that you donate it to) can just as easily make sure the problem doesn't happen again. You're going about this whole process rather close-minded.

I don't think Apple sells the Mac OSX software bundle in stores so no, it wouldn't be possible.
