So I went out and bought myself a second copy! Ideas?

I just got my allowance and seeing as I didn't have anything to spend it on at the moment, the first thing that came to my mind was: getting another town would relieve so much stress! I mean, I admit I felt pretty guilty at first, but then I remembered I knew someone with four copies so no big deal.

So this is the legitimate question: most of my friends have 3DSs so I know that if I get a dreamie I can just easily pass it over and get all the rest of my dreamies that way without any hassle. But what else should I do with it? I know cycling and dream towns exist, but I'm wondering if there's anything else I should do with it that anyone knows of?

You could always make a themed town if not a cycle town- like a particular fairytale, color, species, etc!!

Keep resetting your town, get multiple marshals by camp and plot reset and sell them all

Maybe use the town for extra storage? Just have fun with it? Or store a bunch of turnips and keep it on Sunday and be rich while selling in other people's towns lol

I would LOVE to make a cycle town and grant people their dreamies, but the thing is I'm waaaay too socially anxious to deal with so many visitors. @_@ The last time I didn't even know how to end a session and I accidentally almost locked someone in. Thank goodness we have emotions to show distress...

The themed town sounds good, though. I mean, I've been wanting to make a town themed around lunar stuff, but it was always too late for me to start in my current town.

edit: that sounds good too. loving these ideas, thanks guys! I'd love to hear more before I permanently settle, though.

One copy I used for growing hybrid. Each player name is important in my life. One house is named after my grandmother and I added all the items she would have loved.

Two other copies are just perfect fruit harvest towns. I never speak to the villagers and the ten have been there since Sept.
I never sat in the mayor chair and live in a tent. My other towns mayors drop by for signatures.
I also use those town for turnips. If one of my towns has a high price I just TT to Sunday and buy 3 lockers full.
Also a good place to pick up extra artwork for my 3 real town museums.

I say before you start getting your town settled, TT to all the events you want! Like if you wanna do Weeding Day, or get items from other events. That's what I like about my second copy, that I don't have to worry about hurting my town & I can TT to my hearts content.

A lunar town sounds like a really cool idea!! You could try and get villagers with sci-fi themed rooms too maybe!!?? I know Octavian and Ruby do, as well as Ribbot (obviously) and I know there are others!!!

Thanks for the positive feedback, guys! I finally figured out what I'm going to do with it as well.

I got a BEAUTIFUL town layout, too! I can't wait to rally all the villagers I want easily since I can soft reset for individual personalities now! : D Thank you guys!!
