So I timetraveled like mad for two days... (thoughts on museum update/museum completion spoilers)

And completed my entire museum!!! Yet unlike in previous games I received nothing :O no museum model or anything
So this made me wonder, is it perhaps possible that the museum will be expanded further? With a gyroid exhibit perhaps? And only when it's complete will anyone receive the model :O
I'm kinda hoping this is the case because the museum is one of my favourite features in the game

I hope it gets expanded. Collecting stuff for the museum is my favorite part of the game and I feel like that journey is almost over since there is only a few more creatures left before March 20th of 2021.

I've never completed the museum in any other game. Do you usually get something for completing it?

I hope the museum is expanded. There are murmurs that Brewster will come back in the basement. I would love an official gyroid display room!

My pipe dream is that Celeste will set up an observatory and you can make constellations. I read about it in Wild World (I think?), but I never played it so I never got to do it. My other pipe dream is that we will get some empty exhibit rooms to decorate again.

I'd kill to bring back the constellations! They already did something similar in this game with the fireworks so they should bring it to the stars!

I have never completed the museum but I did recently finish my fossil section!! As for expansions, I think bringing Celeste back in to the tower would be amazing! And I do miss Brewster, he was an amazing addition! Maybe they could slowly introduce all the characters similar to how they do in Pocket Camp, but hopefully without the whole having to pay for them deal. lol

I finished the fossils, set, and bug collections. I’m missing one fish and one diving creature now.

I think there might be another addition in the museum where the dinosaurs exhibit is? If you explore the area, there’s a locked door there. Maybe for gyroids there?

But yeah, in New Leaf, if you complete the museum, I think you could buy the museum model if I remember correctly?

Yeah normally you get a museum model, and in New Leaf they make it a shop item!

idk i think the museum is pretty lovely but if we get one more museum upgrade and none for nook's cranny i may actually lose my mind. sometimes, things don't need to be shoved into the museum.

i didn't know u didn't get anything for completing the museum, but in a way i felt like i already expected that. it's kind of sad bc it's such a huge accomplishment, but as other ppl have said maybe it's a "hint" that we'll get more things to collect (unfortunately or fortunately depending on your outlook). i wish we'd at least get an award to hang on the wall or display, or maybe a nook miles achievement.

I am never going to complete mine because i do not collect art, but i would love it if they added even more sections for us to work on filling up. I dont know what kinds of new sections they could add but i do know that if it is for gyroids then i am skipping that one as well ha!

Oh I'd love if that's potential confirmation of a gyroid exhibit. Or maybe constellations...? It seems like a museum model is an odd thing for them to cut.... because on one hand that could allude to the fact that the museum isn't not just complete exhibit wise, but that the exterior could change too! This is so interesting to me!
