So, I need some room ideas!

Some of you guys are just super creative with your towns and have such great ideas that I decided to ask for some more! I have three player homes in my town, and several empty rooms that I have no idea what to do with. I used every idea I could come up with already and I can't think of anything else. It's like writers block, only it's...designer block?

So, I need some help to get some ideas of what to do. I'm open to pretty much anything. If you have ideas of what items I can use to make the room, that would be appreciated as well.


These are the rooms I already have in each of my houses, so you guys don't waste time giving an idea for something I already have. Anything marked 'n/a' is a room I'll need ideas for. I also noted the size of the empty rooms so there is an idea of how much space I have to work with.

Main room - Spooky/creepy room
Left room - kitchen
Back room - Sailor themed bedroom
Right room - game room/playroom
Upstairs - Asian themed room
Downstairs - kind of a lounge


Dawn's house:

Main room - n/a, fully expanded
Left room - bathroom
Back room - back yard/camp type room
Right room - n/a, smallest size
Upstairs - Nintendo room
Downstairs - Rococo room


Shunji's house:

Main room - 7/11 room
Left room - sloppy set
Back room - didn't build yet, probably won't add
Right room - n/a, smallest size
Upstairs - n/a, smallest size
Downstairs - n/a, smallest size

As you can see, I do different themes per room instead of having the full houses be a single theme. So nothing has to match any of the other rooms. In total, I need 5, maybe 6 room ideas, depending on if I ever build the back room.


My only requirements are:
- 1 or less QR slots required per house. Most of my design spots are already full.
- Nothing offensive

I also like to think about other games that I like to play and design games around them. Like Legend of Zelda or Fantasy Life. Pick a character and design a room for them.

some other rooms I have are tiki bar; jazz club; library; throne room.

aquarium rooms are nice.

i've seen dream addresses that did good jobs with holiday rooms: halloween room, Christmas room, harvest set room, egg set room.

a beach room. most of the gracie sets make nice-looking rooms, esp. gorgeous set and gracie set. lots of rococo set rooms out there too that look really good.

You could try a study? A really steampunky, dark wood kind of study ( if you know what I mean). A room filled with photos of villagers, a chapel, a garden...xx
