So, here's my map. I started this town ~2 years ago and didn't really think much about anything when I played and placed permanent PWPs. Now I've gotten back into the game, and I really don't want to reset. So I'm working with what I got. Unfortunately, I'm unimaginative and not creative at all so I need a bit of help.

Everything on there is permanent, except for the lighthouse (which I really want to keep there) and the bridges. The little grey circles are approximate locations of where my rocks are. The boundaries are where themes PWPs will go. The houses are where my dreamies live.

About my town: I plan on it being a 'natural' themed town. So it'll have natural dirt paths instead of patterns. The north bit of my town is going to be all pine trees, so it'll be foresty/bushy. The bottom half will be the more... cultured (?) part with parks and generally all fruit trees/flowers and whatnot. I also plan to put a bench underneath my lighthouse if I can fit it in.

My question is: Are there any other areas I should design? (I kind of want an orchid/flower bed somewhere, maybe behind my house?) I also want to have a general idea as to where I should be moving/plot resetting my villager houses. Is there anything I should watch out for/think about? Any general tips?

If you guys wanna be more hands on, my dream address is 7400-2246-9641. I've just updated it so it's all fresh and WIP. :)

Thanks in advance. :D

(Also if you want me to clarify anything, just ask! I'll be online for a while.)

A garden behind you house would be cute (or a orchard) and there can be a path leading to you house from the back and then have a 1 path wide stepping stone pattern leading to the front of your house c:

Oh, I never thought about that. I actually didn't like paths much cause I don't think they blend really well. But stepping stone ones would be cool I think. P:

I'm thinking of just putting a garden there. Trees are too big and bulky. :'D Thanks!

Include a firepit by the campsite :) if you have an uchi villager wait for her to request the picnic blanket, and you can include that somewhere within that area :) in addition to what the other user said about the stepping stone, you can include a flower arch (i think normal villagers request this?) or wisteria trillis (uchi villager request) :)

Thanks so much for the tips. I actually don't have all the PWPs yet (I have the firepit) so this is really helpful. :D Now I just have to google what they look like. :P

For the campsite, it would be cute to have the Log Bench PWP and lots of pine trees (like you said). You could also try some stumps thrown in the camping area to add a 'organic' look.

Ahaha, looks like my campsite boundary needs to be a bit bigger. :P Do you think I should put a hammock there? I had vaguely planned to have a sleeping/zen area near the bottom bump of the top half of the town, but I could just make the entire right half a massive camp area.

A hammock would be super cute! I like both idea of a sleeping/zen area or a massive campout, so whatever fits in that area the best is good!

Bump! Still looking for ideas for the left side of the northern half and the bottom of the south half. As well as any places I should plot-reset my villagers too. :)
