So I learned something interesting tonight.

I bought the Celeste amiibo the other day.

I just went to use it on my newest town so I can buy stuff from her RV. However, it told me that she 'seems to be sleeping and cannot be woken up.' Not only that, I didn't get coupons for summoning her either.

So apparently, if you don't have the second museum floor open, you can't summon Celeste.


Makes me curious if you can't summon other NPCs if you don't have their stores yet.

I got suprised by this one time too when I was on an alt.
Since my alt hadn't talked to Digby yet, they weren't able to summon them.
It's odd that they say something as in "They're very busy.", but it's really just that you haven't talked to them. I think your prompt is different as you don't have Celeste in your town yet.
I think I do prefer the vague response, seems a bit more fun than just saying "Talk to them, please!".

That's a bit rude, I guess they want you to work for real life dlc as well I never had her amiibo but, good to know if I would get her.
