I finally, FINALLY, got one of my not keeping villagers to move in my primary town and tted Ankha into boxes. And wouldn't you know it. Coustaeu decided that even though I didn't invite him or go to anyone's town or anything that he would move right in. Well you know what I hate him now so much! I am never going to talk to him. I will act as though he isn't even there. My mad scientist, Walter, will constantly hit him with a net and do other bad things to him because he deserves it!
Now I cant let Ankha leave and I'm gonna have to wait till someone else whom I don't want decides to move. Arrgh!
Have you ever had a villager completely destroy something and frustrate you a lot?
If you did how did you respond?

I've read and watched videos saying that hitting them with nets and pushing them around makes them neutral toward you and not in a negative way.

You need to at least talk to him once and then you don't have to, therefore making him a useless character to your town. To sum it up don't talk to him and the game will want to kick him out.

Hope I was some help.

I know your feeling :(

Flora randomly moved in due to a Spotpass void. Right in the middle of my paths, also destroying my bushes >_>
Took me a very long time to get her out of my town. She just refused to gtfo...

that's why I turned off that streetpass crap because so many times it screwed me over.
I remember I had 9 villagers and someone offered me Bunnue for free, and I jumped for joy and went to pick her up when I noticed on my way to the train was a reserved spot for the ugliest creature called Limberg. I wuz so mad

This has happened to me too!!!! Ditto on turning off street pass and spot pass!!! Never again!

Unfortunately, until you move someone else in hew on't be able to move since he was last in :( This has happened to me before as well! I got some creepy mega bear in the middle of my hybrids from another town >x<

Aww Cousteau... I had him in my previous town and he was my favorite :c But I can definitely see why you're frustrated! I got Bam from a campsite, and this is completely on me, but I TT'd for some unknown reason and forgot that he was moving in, and he ended up in the WORST. SPOT. EVER. Like, there was no way to fix it, no way to work paths around it. It was the closest to my house that it could ever be. I ended up replacing him with Kid Cat for the sake of my town.

Makes me wonder why the devs haven't set up obvious no-no algorithms for villager move-ins aside from PWPs. Fortunately for me, I've been able to have move-ins that aren't in terrible spaces when I first started. Most of them are grouped together on the map and plot-resetting recently has fixed any potential problems but that's because I knew precisely when someone was moving in...

But I would say that if a new villager moves in and you hate them, at least do your mayoral duty of greeting them once and once only. After that, ignore them. If you hit them with a net, push them around, send junk mail, etc., it's still read somehow as you're giving them attention, no matter how negative, so don't. I also will say that if a villager pings you to move, sometimes telling them to GTFO doesn't always work and you may get a response along the lines of them wanting to be better friends with you so they stay. I always TT one day a time until Isabelle tells me said turd is moving "tomorrow" and find out who's moving through rumors from other villagers, which are always right on the money despite how unsure they are.

happened to me too! I was supposed to get whitney, my last dreamie, (I traded Diana for her) BUT as I was about to go to pick her up from the trader's town, Ribbot moved in via someone's void T__T

I traded one of my towns characters into a secondary town that had Pashmina. Since I'm at 4 players, no plot resetting trick, so wherever she went, she went. Wouldn't you know she plopped it down in a plot I was trying to make my flower garden... Oh well, that was on October 23, 2013, so I had to get over it if I wanted an uchi and their PWP requests. I learned to live with it, half a garden was better than nothing I suppose.

Sydney dropped her house half on the pathway and in the 2nd park. Two days before I removed a PWP and was going to put in a flower bed PWP.
I pushed her and hit her. It was a waste of time. I worked around her house and put the park in.
About 8 months in I figured out how to fix the pathway. The two parks are better. Sydney is my 10th so I made it work.

I read that some people have had luck getting rid of a villager by using a 2nd player. 2nd player is nice and the mayor only says hello once. They got rid of the villager.

I can feel you, I was on the hunt for Marshal on another site until the man known as Gruff moved in. I did not mind him, but I prefer Marshal

well hitting him with the net and doing other bad things to him isn't going to help him move out.

though there was a villager who moved into my town after I f***** up while TT, Walker. he ruined my black hybrids that I was breeding. but I wasn't mad at him for too long since he moved out the next day, but that was because I invited beau to live in my town.

So I just talked to him once like you all said and he said he was from Qwerty which was my town previously before I restarted like a month or two ago. So can someone explain to me how this void thing works because he seems to have come from my own void. I'm so confused!

Now that is interesting, do you have one or two ds machines and you said you reset that town, the answer may help some people get mistaken voideds back.

I have two machines but my primary which was Qwerty but I reset it to Nova has only ever been in my 2ds not my 3ds.

But I guess ignoring him won't make him move out. I had Maelle and I was so pissed off with her because besides being an ugly duckass, she built her house RIGHT IN FRONT of one of my bridges, it was almost impossible to cross that path and I was so, so mad. She lived in my town for like months, MONTHS, and never pinged me to move out, meanwhile Julian pinged me twice in the same week he moved in, just because he's a dreamy.
I also have Felicity for a damn long time, I'd say for about 4 months now and the only time she pinged me to move out, and I accepted, she decided to stay because "I didn't know her very much", which annoyed me even more.
So I'd say, befriend Coustaeu that the chances of making him move out are higher.
