Snowman building/limit?

I was trying to build a snowman today and I rolled the two snowballs perfectly, but when I tried to push them together and make the snowman, the two snowballs just kept rolling and never combined. Has anyone else had this problem?
I already have two snowmen built on my island, is there a limit to number of snowmen you can have at once?

It's only possible for a maximum of four Snowboys to exist on an island each day (there will be one Snowboy in each stage of their "lifespan"--example image here).

The closest I've gotten two Snowboys to be together is one space between them. Perhaps the body is too close to another built Snowboy? A screenshot of your current set-up would help to better diagnose the issue.

When you put the snowballs together, there's needs to be space around it to. Being to close to furniture, buildings, or other snowboys might prevent it from being build. If that's not the issue, just save and quit and start over. Someone else was having similar issues with not being able to built a snowboy in a large empty space

Also depending on what size the snow is, the snowballs won't automatically join together into the snow person. I made that mistake earlier when I had a giant base and a tiny head. however afterwards dad the snow person got upset and said what abomination am I?

This happened to me too. I ended up making an upside down snowman because it was being dumb, but I think that you can only have 4 snowmen at once. Don't worry though, if you make one each day they will melt in time, I believe!
