Snowball watching is boring

Well remembered to get my dung Beattie today, but the bugger is not showing up.

I think you just have to check back frequently and exit enter houses to get it to spawn

Yeah, if they’re not appearing I would go in and out of town hall to see if that helps! Hopefully you’re able to find a beetle soon.

It took me about 15 tries of going in and out buildings before finding one rolling a snowball, so you'll find them eventually! Good luck!

I would do anything to get a snowball to even spawn! I can't find any in my town, and there's plenty of clearing here and there...

I got lucky and found mine immediately! I'm sure with enough attempts, it'll spawn.

Finally got my dung Beetle yippi. Bugs all done now just need the ellisive golden shovel.

I was trying to build a snowman and the bottom half started to slowly move away while I was working on the head. I was pretty shocked! Then I saw it was a sneaky Beetle and was able to catch it.

yeah thats a hard one, especially since even though he counts towards the nook mile achievement, pretty sure gulivarr doesnt for the shovel. so you have to help the original gulivar 40 times

I still have to catch the dung beetle and the chance I had, I stupidly decided to push the snowball without seeing the beetle behind it. I’m so annoyed.

I accidentally scared away the dung beetle on my island this morning

I saw one yesterday. I heard about how you can scare them, so when I went to catch it, I thought my net hitting the snowball would make it fly away, but it didn't. It was kind of difficult to catch because you have to be at a certain distance to not hit the snowball. Fortunately, the net doesn't break the snowball.

I saw a dung beetle roll a snowball right off a cliff, busted the snowball and de spawned the beetle. Man was I ticked.

I got one rolling quite fast, but I messed up and the beetle flew away. It took me a while before getting to try again.

I saw one last night, but my net broke like a second before I found the snowball. I was a bit annoyed. Like who thought tools breaking was a fun idea for a chill/relaxing game?

I actually had a pretty simple time catching one. I didn't even notice it was there until the snowball slowly started moving away!
