Is it me or are the snooty villagers not snooty? I mean don't get me wrong they can be on RARE occasions, but they just seem nice to me.

Yeah all the personalities seem to have been watered down for NL, it means its easier to like them but is also more boring :(

I agree-I've only had a few comments about the outfit I'm wearing, or what I've "said" when in WW they were mean-but then you learnt to love 'em :3

Not as uptight as WW... Sigh... I miss the old personalites, now they just seem to repeat themselves over and over -.-'

I've actually had peppy villagers act more snooty than my snooty villager for some reason.

They're not nearly as snooty as they were back in GC, but they are still snooty. Eloise has told me about her past and she was pretty snooty and boastful in describing her 'flawless' self.

It makes me sad because snooty used to be my favorite type, now it's not so much.

Eh, snooty villagers haven't really been snooty for me since GC. Sometimes the uchi and peppy villagers seem more arrogant imo.

I agree they are less snooty in New Leaf. I used to have a love-hate relationships with them. The conversations they used to have with the lazy characters were hilarious.

I think the snooty villagers are still fine, I think Whitney acts more like she did in the movie in this game than in previous games... xD Overall I think that they still act snooty "enough." My complaint is the Crankies... :c They act like big bros instead of Crankies. Still cute but woah...really super nice. One of the nicest villager types suddenly. >.> I WANT TO BE YELLED AT SOMETIMES.

You know, this is something a friend and I were talking about the other day.

We played ACGC last weekend, and noticed how much more blunt and rude all of the villagers are in the game. They almost make you feel like the black sheep of that town.

However, by the time NL has come out, Snooty and Cranky villagers have really softened up. Like, way too much. You know, I actually confused Blaire to have the Normal personality type when I first got her.

And like someone else has said, the Peppy villagers are more self-centered than the Snooty ones.

Every personalit changed for the worst except for the Snooty! I love their personality now because they seem so Classy now

Uchi are definitely uchi. They have a pinch of snooty though. "Why are you giving me that face? *sheepishness emotion*"

I've noticed that too. Peppy villagers in ACNL tend to talk about themselves a lot. Idk, when I hear "peppy", I'd think they'd be a little less selfish. To me, peppy is just a boisterous attitude; it doesn't mean they have to be all self-absorbed.

I feel like this generation of snooty villagers are more caring toward the player. I consider them more "classy" than "snooty". You only really see their snootiness during special occasions. Like, when they see you're swollen from bees, they give sassy remarks.

--edit--
Peppy villagers always have talked about themselves, lol.
For some reason, they seem more intense in ACNL.
Idk :S

That's okay, Eloise called me stupid because she couldn't understand a letter I sent her. That's why I will forever hate her.

I definitely agree that the Cranky villagers seem a bit too nice. Even when they've just moved in, they'll occasionally act buddy-buddy with you already.
