Pokémon Snip.

Maybe you can try to look for an Action Replay for DS. Not sure if they still sell them though. I would really love to help, but sadly, you can't trade in Earlier Gens over Wifi anymore.

Indeed. That is why I'm having to do it by myself, which isn't so bad. The only issue is that I don't know what I'm doing.

Well, it's also possible in Diamond and Pearl, according to multiple sources.

Oh. I don't know anything about these glitches anyways. I just remember reading that glitch for Pokemon XY a while ago so I just thought maybe that's why it wasn't working.

Hey, it's fine. It's just that none of the guides I've found (there aren't that many) haven't been very, well, detailed.

Does it work with X? If so I might help...

There is a way to do it with X, yes. The only problem is that the reason I'm trying to duplicate is because of the inability to ever transfer them back to the previous games. If I were to duplicate my Pok?mon, I'd have versions in both the previous and most recent games.

Try looking for an Action Replay for DS. There should be cloning codes there.
I'm not sure about cloning codes, I haven't really looked around for those. I have the Action Replay DSi, which has a micro SD card slot. It allows you to back up saves of games (except for the black IR cards I believe), so if Bowie is using Diamond/Pearl/Platinum for this then they can just back up the save, send the Pokemon over and put the save back into place.
