Smugs?

Are there any Smugs with deep voices?

Right now I only have 1 deep voiced character (Tom) and I'd like another...

I have 3 planned lazies, 1 jock and 1 cranky. So I'm thinking either a smug or a cranky for my final dude spot.

no. crankies are the only ones with voices like that. its part of how you distinguish them

All villagers of the same personality have the same voice!

Nope, only crankies have that deep voice to make them sound like grumpy old men. Although I do think it would fit some smugs like Marshal and Beardo.

Ya I thought Beardo, Hans and Chops should have the deep voice. A couple others could work too.

I have always imagined that Hans spoke in the voice of V.V. Argost.

Guys like O'hare and Cousteau I could see having little accents that would be really cool. I guess I'll be going for another cranky then...

Agreed. I actually find the villagers' identical personality dialogue to grow stale after a while, with the odd different and quirky think popping up on a rare occasion. I have a friend who stopped playing NL because he felt the characters of the same personality were too, well, the same.

I was considering adding him to my town cause he reminds me of Skips (from Regular Show) in a way... But I have enough high voiced characters...
