Smash Bros WiiU/3DS Development Begins

If there's one thing Sakurai constantly gets pestered about in any kind of interview, it's the Smash Bros. series.

He's recently stated countless times that work on the new Smash Bros. game coming to Wii U and 3DS won't begin until Kid Icarus: Uprising is complete and now that the European release is just a month away, it seems he is free to start work on the next big thing.

It surprises me that there are some fan not wanting a 3DS version, isn't that something we've been crying for? A portable Smash Bros experience? Either way, can't wait, hope the Dojo doesn't spoil almost everything like last time.

That was actually really exciting. It gave me something to look forward too. And if you think about all of the stuff they'll be putting into the games, I kind of want it to happen.

I'm excited. Right now for 3DS, I'm waiting especially for AC:3DS, Paper Mario, and this. And yes, I know that this won't come out for a year or more.

That was actually really exciting. It gave me something to look forward too. And if you think about all of the stuff they'll be putting into the games, I kind of want it to happen.

It was exciting, but for some it ruined the experience with Brawl when you found out that they told you ultimately everything.
