Smash Bros Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U Discussion Thread

Anyone notice that kirby has a new combo throw? Well this might now be confirmed, but forward throw could lead into a various amount of things such as Upper cutter and up airs/fairs.
Yeah, Kirby had the knockback on the f-throw changed and had a 2% damage reduction on it which I am completely fine with as long as I can follow.
Kirby also got some quicker start up frames and ending frames on the inhale. The final thing that has been found so far is that the jab had some frames change so that it's quicker and no as easy to break out.

The Samus social made a complimation video on their wonderful and beloved character. It's hilarious and sad at the same time.

I don't really use kirby's jab at all, but kirby does need more speed. Only times are really use it is when I try and cancel it into another tilt, but that doesn't work out so well...

I don't know why I made this, but for those of you who need a reaction image of Little Mac being chased by Miku in a Sonic outfit, here ya go!

Any tips for someone who's going to start attending tourneys soon? Also, would it be wise to pick up a secondary main?

I would just say that you definitely need at least 3 mains to go on, so training on a secondary main as well as a third is crucial if you want to be able to rely on different characters. Other than that there's not much else I can say on the subject as I've never attended a tourney IRL :)

LMAO

i was fighting this capt falcon main and i fell off the stage and when he tried to disrespect me he died and i recovered

i still lost but i thought that was pretty funny

I remember last night I was fighting some random guy online and I did a jab combo, ran to the end of the stage, told him to show me his moves, and then I did a reverse falcon punch and took his stock. I actually have a replay but it's on the 3ds version.

Show us the replay! :D

You bought ME. Yay!! XD and Lucas as well. Enjoy playing as your new DLC characters <3 :)

When I went into the section to look at what his moves were, it got a bit confusing as to what I was supposed to do. It has weird instructions for charging them...? Thanks :)

Captain Falcon God Tier confirmed

---

I went on Reddit and got in on an online tournament.

So far, I made it to Round 2.

I feel like Ness as Falcon are the two cheapest and most braindead characters in the game. It goes without saying that I hate their guts.

Both of them rack up % super fast not only that but both of them have very safe and powefull kill-moves aswell. Both of them pretty much spam a few moves in order to win. Ness has hid down-throw, Fair, nair, Bair and PK-fire. Where as Falcon has his Up air, Bair and smashes.

What I downright hate about these fighters is that you don't need any skill at all in general in order to put up a fight with these characters due to the fact that they are so easybake and powerfull. If it isn't obvious already I play neither of these characters but this one time on FG I played against a cocky falcon player. He wasn't bad, but the taunting and T-baging got to me so I chose Falcon for like the 5th time ever. I 2 stocked him. If that isn't a sign of how easybake these this/there characters are I don't know what is.

All in all I feel like both of these two should be nerfed in either the Power of Speed department (in terms of lag that is)

I agree with your sentiments on Falcon (pretty much all of his moves can be used to KO), but I think it should be said that Ness' PK Thunder recovery is very easy to gimp, making him not-so-difficult to beat.
