Smash Bros Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U Discussion Thread

Guys, I feel awful for not being able to give everyone a code. I really hope you guys can find one.

After a little bit of playing, I can say that the game controls like a dream. It's definitely the portable Smash. No lesser version here.
 
I'm just going to use this to occupy my time until the Wii U version
I gave my best friends two codes (one each) so I have one free.
Idk if I should sell it or give it another irl friend
 
If you have a irl friend that would enjoy it I say give it to them if you know that they'd love to have it. ^^ May as well make your rl friends happy first. But if they aren't the type to really enjoy much of the game then may as well get what you can for it lol. That way others like me can be jealous we can't get it lol. xD
 
I still don't have the codes. :/ Did I not get one or is Nintendo being REALLY slow with the codes?

I can't even check if I have emails blocked from them or not because I keep getting errors whenever I try to log in. If I do manage to log in, then I get kicked out after a minute! -_-

I finally got through. I am opted in for emails from them. Why are they taking so long?
 
I finally managed to get a demo code from someone! The game's super fun and it's really easy to get the hang of. I wish there were more than 5 characters though. Oh well.

A kind soul has bestowed a code upon me and I send them my sincerest thanks if they're reading this.
Anyway, to the demo.
I have yet to get used to the controls, but they're <censored> solid!
The only bad thing that happened is the protective layer over my 3DS circle pad slid off a few times mid-battle(oops).

Out of all the 5 characters, Link and Mario did the most damage for me. I took down Lv. 9'ers with em #proud :')
Villagers moveset is so true to the game, I love it. Still getting used to it, but Villager can do some real damage.
I did alright with Pikachu, nothing much to write about the little rodent.
And then I had a go at Megaman and he is pretty solid. I LOVE HIS METEOR SMASH THOUGH OMG.

But yeah, I'm really loving this demo.
Can't wait til the real deal comes out!
 
I managed to snag a code from a real life friend and oh goodness. The demo is amazing! And the fact that it has unlimited uses is the best thing ever. I can practice getting back into this game because I haven't played Smash in a loooooong time haha. I'm hoping everyone can get their hands on a code so they can experience it too. C:
 
Dang, I won't be getting any codes. I was confused, since I was a Platinum Member, but you apparently had to be one last year to qualify, not this year. That's a bummer.

Ah well. Release date isn't that far away.

I've heard he's been improved on for this version. It certainly feels like it from what I can remember, which makes me glad because he's always been a favorite of mine.

I'm playing with Level 9s and they never pop my balloons. Plus I go to the top screen easily. The only bad thing about the recovery is that, unlike other recovery moves, once you're hit you can't use them again.
