It's a bit more than a month before Smash Bros. 3DS comes out, and Ashtot and I are planning on hosting quite a few tourneys. This will be an extension of TBT Game Night but will have its separate thread. We want to know beforehand if you guys have any ideas for this, as well as if you'd be interested in participating. Id be interested in taking part With either Toon Link (My main from brawl) Robin (Ive wanted him in ever since Awakenings release) or maybe Dark Pit (He better have his VA from uprising!)

I feel like what we're thinking at the moment is that there will be a "casual" tourney with items and full stages, and then a "serious" tourney with only Final Destination stages and no items.

Makes me wonder, will they bother to make a tool that makes the 3DS compatible with Amiibo? Or will it be New 3DS exclusively? (and Wii U) I know they said they'd make it compatible with 3DS' but it'd probably rake in more money if it was New 3DS only.

I remember them showing a picture of an XL interacting with amiibo long before the New 3DS was announced.
