Smash Bros Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U Discussion Thread

Gema just fell asleep during his livestream, I'm pretty sure. Well, at least Duck Hunt Dog is in. Those taunts and his final smash are fantastic. Cannot wait for this. Definitely a day-one buy.
 
I can see the Linking game versions unlocking characters being true. It was confirmed years ago that the 2 versions would connect somehow, and then they announced that the stages are different ~ effectively confirming you can't fight across the 2 games so what else is there to do?

Also the addition of more characters might lead to them grouping characters together by their game origins like before.

Good points.
It's my little beacon of hope so i'm investing in it.
Still aboard the hype train lel.

I hope they do a veteran DLC pack: Ice Climbers, Lucas, Wolf, Snake.
And newbies: Ridley, Mewtwo, Dixie, Chorus Kids.
 
Ness as the only Mother Character? That's lame.
And here I was messing with Lucas on Brawl to stay in "practise" for the new ones. 8P

I think that this is not the final roster :/ They have to make an Square like in ssbb, so probably the DLC will make the square :/
 
I really wanna watch a stream but there is none on. The struggles of being at school.

I'm hoping so too. Just because there's no such thing and too much choice. :p

I do feel like I'm a huge minority saying the only not-returning character I want is Ice-climbers. Lucas's moves I presume will be Ness's custom moves which is good enough for me, and while Mewtwo and Snake were cool and had different move sets I never really used them, so I don't feel the loss as keenly as others.

Also, after seeing more Rosalina and Luma gameplay, I can't see why Ice-climbers were cut other than Sakurai just didn't want them back.

Speaking of minorities, I'm super hype to use Dr. Mario.
He was my most used character in Melee, believe it or not.
 
So now the full roster is known who is everybody going to main? :)

Im gonna keep Toon Link (Brawl main) and im gonna try to main Robin, Lucina and Dark Pit
