Small White Owl on the Plaza Message Board

Was that little guy always there and I just didn’t notice or is this new? When I approach he flies away.

I’ve tried to catch him with a net and shoot him with my catapult (sorry! :/) but I can’t get him.

Is this just in-game decoration or is this an opportunity somehow?

It means you have a new message on the message board! During the day the owl is replaced by a little yellow bird They're so cute, I wish they were more permanent!

Birds will appear on the noticeboard when there is a new message!
During the day it's a yellow bird and at night it's an owl.

if you want to target practice see more of them, go to harv's island at night... saw 3 of them on the eves above him and i thought they were only decoration at first, then i saw one move.. got closer then they flew away. looked like Huur, his mate, and their offspring(bonus for those who get that reference).

Thank you. I have seen both the yellow bird and the owl. I thought we were supposed to catch them with the net but I couldn't get near them. I didn't realise they signalled a piece of news.

The owl is beautiful!

I just thought it was a random thing to give atmosphere to the game.
