You can't adopt a villager in someone else's campsite. They HAVE to be currently living in your town in order for them to get adopted.

Unfortunately, that is the case. You had kind intentions though. Btw, you don't need to play those games to get them to move in. I usually don't. XD Only game I play is if it's one that they'll move in if I win.

Otherwise, I don't play them. And, if you don't wanna lose anything valuable, either drop it on the ground before ya enter the igloo or attach it to your mail.
