so for my end of the year trip we are going to six flags, but i am pretty nervous. i've never been a fan of roller coasters. in fact i don't ever think i've rode a roller coaster before. are they any rides there that are good for chickens like me to ride? (but no kiddie rides o_o) also, can i still have fun without any rides? i will ride some but i'm just wondering.

I don't know if the other Six Flags' are different from the one I've been to, but it had nothing but high-speed roller coasters and that one ride that goes up and suddenly drops down. They have those little games people usually don't win and stuff...but yeah...

Which Six Flags are you going to???
The one in San Antonio, Texas that's called "Fiesta Texas" has like the best roller coaster rides ever. But you may not like them as much as I do because I'm a huge fan of roller coasters :p
But most parks have kiddie rides, you should look up the rides where you're going.

in california. but i don't want kiddie rides, just not the ones with super INTENSE drops.

You could ride Speedy Gonzales. That wasn't scary.
Also, those planes that literally go up and go in a circle. Those are fun and 0% scary.
Teacups are fun and not scary.
Roadrunner Express is a good one, too. Not scary at all.
There's always water rides, which are automatically less scary due to the coaster having to push against air and water pressure, thus killing a lot of their velocity.
There is plenty to do in a theme park excluding roller-coasters, but oftentimes the other activities (booths, minigames, food, etc.) aren't included in your day passes (shows usually are, though). :/
If you're not going to ride coasters, make sure to buy the cheapest ticket possible.
In truth, roller coasters are mostly mental insofar as fear goes. Don't be too afraid of those G-drops- know something is there to catch you and enjoy the adrenaline~!

magic mountain?? i went the same place for my school trip last year! i was really afraid too but my friends convinced me to go on X2 first and the whole thing is a blur now. i also went on goliath but only once, the rest of the time i mostly rode colossus over and over because it was the least intense but i think it got torn down now? anyway after the first drop X2 is mostly just twists and turns i think and it's pretty fun.

They're awesome!! Well, depending on the Six Flags and the ride, they're either awesome or super lame. Also, depending on who you trust, you can take your 3DS with you, and play a TON while waiting in line. That's why I like taking people who don't like roller coasters with me, they get to hold onto my 3DS while I ride, and while in line we not only get to chat, we get to play some of the coolest games on the planet!

That's the one I went to. I don't know if the one in California has this too, but there were also drag races you could do.

What? Why does my school have lame field trips p;

My mom hates big rides too, she just sat there and people watched, lol. I personally love the feeling of near death but not dying. Like others said, start up some conversation with random people, couldn't hurt. Have fun :)

it's for junior high promotion

I'll go to six flags with you xD I always go since I have the whole year pass. Th one in California is fun xD almost every ride is scary. I'm scared of hights but got on almost everything. Goliath is actually pretty fun. Overall I'd say face your fears and get on everything :3

At least you guys have field trips. In my school, unless you have band, theater arts, etc. you don't go anywhere. =w=

Idk about my school I'm new to it this year. The only trip I know about is for English class where you go to Italy France and Greece.

That's where all the language classes in my school are going, but that's in 2016. =n=

Awesome :3 I think ours is this year and next year. Not sure though. I'm going to have my own little trip to Italy for senior year. I don't need the school...

Lucky you! xD Unless the school is doing it, my parents would never let me go.

Aww why not? The only reason I wanna go to Italy is because I love it's history along with France. At the end of the day I just wanna go and see Italy then think about living there or not when I'm older. My dad got really emotional when I told him I wanted to live in Italy.
