Sisterly Villager Choice?

As much as I like Charlise, her house is still stuck in starter villager limbo and I like both Reneigh and Cherry better. Which one should I go for?
Reneigh is dang cool, but Charlise just isn't asking to leave, and she hasn't turned up in the Camp. I could get Cherry, who's quite neat, by buying an Amiibo, but I like Reneigh just a little bit better. Do I wait, or go the easy route? And what's your personal opinions on these Villagers?

I would go with reniegh if you like her more. I myself like a good villager hunt! My sisterly is Deirdre but I’m moving her out so I can rehunt her for her actual house.

I really disliked all of the uchi designs back in New Leaf except maybe Fuchsia, and also never saw the appeal in their dialogue. Reneigh however changed that, having a very nice design and pleasant color palette while embodying the uchi stereotype quite well, and all that for a horse! (No offense to them, I just don't like them very much either)

I also am enjoying the new uchi dialogue quite a bit more, sooo... Reneigh? Yeah, Reneigh is my choice.

I'm personally going to do the campsite method for her when I start moving in the dreamies, but hunting for some villagers and not getting everything through amiibo has its appeals, in whichever way you decide to hunt if you do go for her

(note- I had most of this typed up before I saw you had two choices picked out, so I'll post it anyway, but of those two I pick Reneigh )

I'm one of the few, it seems, who loves a lot of sisterly ladies. It could be because I just like the personality a lot- if I were a villager, I think I'd be sisterly (can come off as gruff/rude but super caring deep down, but I've also got a funny/mischievous side).

My favorite, though, should be obvious... *pokes avatar* Ursala is MY GIRL. I LOVE her eyes, her cute little muzzle, her freckles, her hair, her colors, her expressions... I LOVE that her name is a solid pun. And I just think bears fit the personality well- sometimes sisterlies mention coming off as scary, as a bear might. But bears also tend to be very maternal, just like sisterly villagers! For some reason, Ursala seems really unpopular. I literally do not understand why she's not the #1 sisterly.

Other ones I like:
-Hazel (that unibrow is pure perfection)
-Deirdre (another good pun, plus she's got a cute face)
-Phoebe (she's literally a phoenix- how can you NOT love her? her colors are gorgeous, too)
-Reneigh (I am a sucker for puns, okay? also, she's got a cute, sassy face and pierced ears which are fun)
-Agnes (just love her colors, and pigs are totally underated)
-Paula (she really does look like someone's big sister, and again, bear)
-Canberra (has a sort of doofy but cute face, and is a less common species as a Koala)
-Sylvia (is a mom to a mini-me baby- two villagers for the price of one!)​

Normally my list includes Charlise but... I also had Plucky for a bit (have her Amiibo, wanted Del out ASAP 'cause he would. not. leave.) and she charmed me more than I expected! Her name is cute and fitting for her species AND personality and her house is fun. Here's a couple pics I took of her-

I have Reneigh. Although she is not quite my aesthetic and is free to go when she asks, I have enjoyed having her around. She truly is sisterly.

Yeah I kinda like the surprise of getting Villagers from the Camp, but when that one you're hoping for just isn't turning up... eh, nothings perfect. Thanks for your advice!

Anyway, as for your other choice, Cherry... she's pretty neat. TBH, dogs aren't my favorite villager type in this game (I make exceptions for some, like Shep or Lucky, but in general their shape isn't that cute to me). Also, I had her for a long time in ACNL. At first, I liked her and thought she was cute. But after awhile I wanted new villagers and, for some reason, she would NOT leave. Then when I started a new game... she popped up AGAIN. I just got so sick of her But that's just me, of course. I think she tends to be one of the more popular sisterlies.

I'm a big fan of Cherry, who happens to be my go to sisterly villager. I love her red color and unique style. Her house has the Cityscape wallpaper which is fantastic as well. You could always go the villager hunting route and pick whoever you find first if you happen to have the NMTs to hunt.

Give Renee a try...I hated all Uchi villagers until she moved in. I don't think many people like her design, but her dialogue is tweaked to the nicer end of the uchi spectrum, so she doesn't come off as being a complete piece of garbage.

I had Reneigh...she's rude AF.

personally, i would choose cherry since she has such a good design! but since you like reneigh more, i’d go with her - and plus, even without an amiibo, she’s not super popular and for that reason, you’d probably be able to get her from someone for free/pretty cheap aha c’:

out of those two I'd pick Reneigh! you can always amiibo in cherry at a later date if you change your mind. in general though I thought ursala was amazing but i recently moved her out and replaced her with pashmina who I also love!!
