Single-Species Towns?

This would be really cool actually. I don't currently hack, but a second game (hacked) with a really heavily themed town sounds like a lot of fun.

I just started my 2nd town & it's going to be primarily Sheep. I'm loosly basing it on the nursery rhymes "Little Bo Peep" & "Mary Had A Little Lamb". I named it Sheepish & the mayor is Bo. I'm going to have 8 sheep villagers, 1 dog (to guard the sheep) & 1 wolf (to um... make things interesting). I looked into the PWPs I want and the sheep were missing a couple of the personalities I need. Luckily the dogs & wolves can cover them. The only thing I'm bummed about is that I'll only have 1 male Sheep - Curlos. (Yes, I know Pietro is male but I'm not a fan of clowns in rl or in ACNL so no Pietro.)

I like the idea of an all alligator town; it could be swamp themed, very over-grown and such.

Yes, this! Unfortunately, only 7 gators are available in New Leaf. :c I would love to see Liz and Pironkon brought back for a future game, and/or new gators added. I suppose Gayle is already pretty similar to Liz.

I don't think I can do an all one-species town but I really want Fauna to have another deer around!
Maybe if I ever buy another game...
My top Species-Only towns would be:
Bear + Cubs Mix
Pigs
Dogs
Deer

If there were more than 4 octopi, i would def have a full octopus town, lmao. (Really hoping more will be added next game wEEPS)
Though!!! I actually do have plans to make a second town that?s themed around sleep and will only have sheep!! My plans are to have Pietro, Vesta, Cashmere, Curlos, Frita, Muffy, Stella, Wendy, Baabra, and Willow! Though admittedly, I?m kind of :/ about Wendy. I?d much rather use someone else, but she?s the only Peppy sheep. I also would?ve loved if Gen or Woolio had made it into NL, since they?re both super cute and NL desperately needs more male sheep.

I want to be able to clone villagers and make an all-Octavian town. Just ten cranky octopuses walking around and screaming at each other over that macaroni vs spaghetti debate

My current file would of been perfect for an all cat town LOL. It's Nyaville..but when i named my town that it was just a quick thing since I was new to acnl and wanted to play already...

but yeah! all species towns are so cute in my opinion! like..I love seeing people have them. I would love an all cat town, rabbit town, or sheep town!

If I were to turn my town into a 1-species town, I most likely would do a all frog town because I love how colorful the villagers are and plus I already have 3 of them in my town (Henry, Puddles, and Croque) so I would only have to acquire 7 more of them.

I think that it's always nice to have 2-3 of the same species, but I don't think I could ever see myself with a one species town. I feel like it would be boring. Despite my love for frog villagers, I would rather just have my 3 favorites (Jambette, Gigi, and Diva).

= 7 hooved villagers. I don't care for Cally or Bonbon and I could easily replace them. I don't think I can give up chief but if Bonbon and/or Cally move out I'd maybe bring in a just hooved.

Like Beau (deer) and Julian (horse). Then Chief (wolf) would be the only wolf That might be kind of cool.

As much as I like the sheep and goat villagers, I couldn't make a one species town. It would get boring to me. Instead I like having a mix of animals I like, deer, cats, sheep, goats, wolves, rabbits, any other animal that looks cool or fits the theme ect...

I don't have a single species town, but I have two towns that have nothing but squirrels and rabbits in them.

Vista and Chocolat are the towns, haven't been bored of it yet (it's been more than three years now for Vista).

I've done it. I've had all dog towns for summer, all deer for winter, all bears and cubs for autumn. It's fun.

I had a single-species town. My town of MoonGlow is all penguins. What I like is the diversity of personalities in the penguin villagers.

I don't think I would want an all species town, but though the idea does sound nice. If I were to do one, I would probably either do an all deer town or all elephant.
